The errors of the fonts are uncomfortable, when sometimes we try to install several fonts and suddenly there is a bug in them, it also rarely happens when we update Windows that the fonts can be damaged, here we are going to discuss possible solutions to repair the fonts Windows.
The first solution is:
Using the system file checker tool this verifies and repairs the files that are corrupt or missing "SFC / SCANNOW" without the quotes, for that we are going to go.
At the command prompt with administrator privileges, type the following command "SFC / SCANNOW" without the quotation marks, press ENTER. This process will take time. The command will examine all protected system files and replace those that are corrupted with a copy that you have in cache. Do not close the window until the operation is 100% complete.
The second solution is:
Give Start > Control Panel > Go to Fonts > Fonts Settings > Restore the default font settings, once this is done wait a moment as the fonts are restored and if the problem persists follow solution number 3.
The third solution is:
We put this solution into practice and it worked for us, the problem occurred when we tried to install multiple fonts, there was an error in the Windows typology and it was that the icon font "Segoe MDL2 Assets" was damaged.
The solution we did was to delete all the Windows fonts even those that are hidden go to Start > Control Panel > Go to Fonts delete all those that are in that folder, the next step we did was from a computer just formatted by the same operating system that we had Windows 10, we had all the fonts from that computer copied and pasted on the other computer where it was giving the error.
Simple to copy the fonts from a computer that is working well with the typography and paste it on the computer where the error is giving, preferably copy the font from a machine recently formatted by Windows 10
