This message occurs when OpenOffice cannot find the Java Runtime Environment installer.

Possible solutions:

Solution # 1: Download and install Java, the Java Runtime Environment abbreviated “JRE”, preferably from the official page.

Once the file is downloaded, the next thing is to install it, open OpenOffice, go directly to the Tools > Options > OpenOffice > Java path.

Click on the Add button and a form will automatically open in which we must search for the Java installation folder for the Java Runtime Environment.

Solution #2: Install or repair the Microsoft component “Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update”, download it from the official page and if it is installed in the program manager it can be repaired.
